Kearsarge-area homeschooling group

Gear Up for Learners is a homeschooling co-op and community located in Warner New Hampshire. Our vision is to engage our children in group classes, workshops, field trips, community outreach, clubs, teams, educational fairs, exhibits and performances, individual mentorships and family gatherings.

If you are interested in joining we host a meeting on the second Thursday of the month at 7pm.  Please feel free to attend.  We meet at The Beehive (formerly Wingdoodles) on Main St. in Warner, N.H.  This group is for Kearsarge area homeschooling families.
See you on June 13 - Come ready to plan!

Update

As you can see by looking at the dates on the posts below, there hasn't been a lot of official activity by the NLAH in awhile!  Many of us who formed this group are either nearing the end of our homeschooling time or our kids are older and active in the teen groups or other activities for high-schoolers.

But, there are still plenty of younger homeschooling families in the area, and many of them are on the NLAH email list, so I would encourage any newcomers to sign up for that list and send out an introductory email (see link in the left sidebar).

There is a new group forming in the Warner area, and they are currently sending out announcements on the NLAH list.  I'll update this site with any new contact info for this group that I receive.

I will be completely done with homeschooling in 2014, so it's time for the NLAH baton to be passed along to a younger parent... feel free to grab it and run with it!

at Tracy Memorial Library in New London in the main floor meeting room
(just to the left of the vestibule).

For those of you who have not attended, this is a chance for children to
recite a memorized poem, present a short report, discuss a project, etc.
(sorry, no music this year) and/or listen to what others have done.
Potluck snacks follow (please, nothing too "scatterable"). No
admission, but new this year, we will be accepting a semesterly offering
from anyone interested as a donation to the library. Please let us know
if you have any questions; we'd love to see you there.
